Practice Nurse

I qualified with a degree with honours at UWE in 2014, Adult nursing. I first worked in oncology as a registered nurse at the R D and E. I then went on to work for 111 as a clinician. I started working in a practice in 2018, where I learnt all my skills to be a practice nurse. I then went into the role of the lead practice nurse.

I have an special interest in helping patients with long term conditions and helping them cope the best they can. I specialise in diabetes and respiratory diseases such as COPD and asthma. I also have lots of experience in chronic disease management, health promotion, phlebotomy, smears, wound care, immunisations for children, adults and for travel and mental health conditions and blood pressure monitoring.

I have a real passion for health and well-being having gone through a big change in my life recently losing nearly 10 stone in weight.

My own interests are my family and friends but if I am not working you will usually find me at the beach.
